Check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out can usually be arranged on request — just let us know when you book and we'll do our best to accommodate your travel times.

Your stay includes your chosen tent or suite, air-conditioning, a private en-suite bathroom, breakfast and dinner, free WiFi, room service and access to the camp's shared facilities including the swimming pool. Activities and excursions can be added to any stay.

No prepayment is needed — you pay the full amount in cash when you arrive at the camp. No credit card or online payment is required to book. If the reservation is cancelled, modified, or in the case of a no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

The cooler months from October to April are the most popular, with warm sunny days and crisp desert nights perfect for stargazing and bonfires. Summer (June–August) is very hot. We're happy to advise on the best dates for the experience you're after.

Desert Rose Camp is in Bidiyah, roughly a 2.5 to 3-hour drive from Muscat. Most guests drive or hire a transfer; the final stretch enters the dunes of Wahiba Sands, where our team can arrange a 4x4 pick-up to bring you safely into camp. Contact us in advance and we'll coordinate your arrival.

Yes — families are warmly welcomed. Many of our activities, like camel rides, sand boarding and the bonfire, are a hit with children. We can advise on the best room configuration and activities for your group's ages.
