Desert Rose Camp began with a simple idea: that a night in the desert should feel warm, not wild. We built a camp in the heart of Wahiba Sands that honours the Bedouin way — open doors, generous tea, music around the fire — and wrapped it in the comfort of a luxury resort.
Every tent is air-conditioned and soundproofed with a private bathroom, yet steps away you are standing on sand that stretches to the horizon. That contrast — deep comfort and wide-open wilderness — is what makes a stay here feel like nowhere else.

Our camp sits among the golden dunes of the Wahiba Sands in Bidiyah, in Oman's Al Sharqiyah North Governorate — a sea of shifting sand that has been home to Bedouin families for generations. It is close enough for a day trip from Muscat, far enough to feel another world away.
